Average weight loss is for people who have no constraint on time, and want to lose weight gradually, and not overnight or all of a sudden. Extreme weight loss techniques include using pills, surgery or both. Of course, these need to be coupled with a proper diet and exercise. Average weight loss has the same ingredients, minus the pills and surgery and anything of the kind. So average weight loss just has two components – a proper diet and exercise, also called training. This is the most natural way to lose weight, and has no risks whatsoever. Also, this is way cheaper than buying pills and getting surgery done. In addition, losing weight the natural way is THE way you should lose weight, and tends to be the most effective.

So how do you get about starting to lose weight the natural way? The first thing that you got to do is start planning a healthy diet. It is no secret that to lose weight, you got to take in lesser calories that your body burns. So the body would start burring lesser calories, as a result, and overall weight will start to reduce. The best way to check how much you are losing is to weigh in everyday, preferably at the same time each day, and maintain a log of your weights. This helps in giving you an estimate of how much you are losing on an average.

So begin planning your diet by eating small amounts of food, several times a day, rather than large amounts of food, 2 or 3 times a day. This is very useful as the body takes more time and energy to digest large quantities of food. By consuming smaller quantities, you make the body use less resources, and thus devote those resources to other things, thus keeping you healthy. Next, check what you eat. It is preferable to prepare a diet chart, and note down specific food to eat at specific times, for each day of the week. There are many nutritionists who could help you with this, so be sure to consult one. In the beginning, for a few days or weeks, you will feel like going back to your old lifestyle. But just think of why you started the diet in the first place. To lose weight. And that’s what you want to do! So prepare a diet plan, and follow it!

The diet needs to be complemented with proper training, and don’t be intimidated, you need not go to a gym and lift heavy weights. Training can start off by as little as walking a mile every day, and then increasing the distance gradually. You could do a lot of simple exercise at home, like skipping, jumping, yoga, meditation and a lot more. All these exercises are simple, and can be done by anyone. These, coupled with the healthy diet, will soon start working wonders on your body. Just hang on to the routine till you start experiencing the first signs of the results.
